For the 2022 edition of 1–54 London, Fridman Gallery is honored to present works by Hana Yilma Godine (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia), Wura-Natasha Ogunji (Lagos, Nigeria), and Ambrose Rhapsody Murray (Asheville, North Carolina, USA).

Each of these singular artists creates mythological narratives based on ancestral history and geography, using elements of painting, drawing and textile.
